Waiver & Liability Agreement
By booking or participating in any Serenity Shore Spa session, including sauna or cold plunge experiences, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Assumption of Risk
I understand that participation in sauna bathing, cold plunge immersion, and related wellness activities involves exposure to extreme temperatures and carries inherent risks.
These risks may include but are not limited to:
• dizziness or fainting
• dehydration
• burns from hot surfaces
• slips or falls
• cold shock response
• aggravation of pre-existing medical conditions
I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
2. Health Acknowledgment
I confirm that I am physically able to participate in sauna and cold plunge activities.
I understand that these services may not be suitable for individuals with certain conditions including but not limited to:
• heart conditions
• high or low blood pressure
• pregnancy
• respiratory conditions
• recent injuries or surgeries
If I have any health concerns, I acknowledge that it is my responsibility to consult a medical professional before participating.
3. Participant Responsibilities
Participants agree to:
• follow all safety instructions provided by staff
• use the sauna and cold plunge responsibly
• exit immediately if feeling lightheaded or unwell
• avoid unsafe behavior around the sauna stove, equipment, or cold plunges
• not participate while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs or alcohol
Serenity Shore Spa reserves the right to refuse service or remove any participant who does not follow safety guidelines.
4. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Serenity Shore Spa, its owners, partners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any liability for injury, illness, loss, or damages that may occur as a result of participating in sauna or cold plunge activities.
This includes claims arising from negligence except where prohibited by law.
5. Mobile Location Acknowledgment
Serenity Shore Spa operates a mobile sauna facility that may be located on private or partner properties.
Participants acknowledge that terrain, weather conditions, and outdoor environments may present additional risks including uneven ground or slippery surfaces.
6. Property Damage
Participants agree to respect all equipment and facilities.
Guests may be held responsible for damages caused by misuse, negligence, or failure to follow safety instructions.
7. Photography & Media
Serenity Shore Spa may occasionally take photographs or videos for promotional purposes.
Participants who prefer not to appear in media may notify staff prior to the session.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Rhode Island.
Any disputes arising from these services will be resolved under Rhode Island jurisdiction.
Agreement
By booking a session or participating in services provided by Serenity Shore Spa, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to this Waiver & Liability Agreement.
